Welcome to my web page. This page serves as a portal to the rest of the information on my site. Please use the links below to access the rest of my web site.

I am very interested in folk music, particularly the banjo. You can find my musings and some tunes on my:

Music Page

I have started building my second gourd banjo from scratch. I will make the whole thing myself. I am doing something different this time and posting the writeup as I go. This is a bit gutsy since I never know where my projects are going to end up. But I thought I would give it a try. I reserve the right to go back to any of these pages and rewrite history (should that become necessary). For now, you can monitor my progress on my

Gourd Banjo II Page

I have finished building my first banjo from scratch. I made the whole thing myself. It is a gourd banjo. I wrote up the entire adventure on my:

Gourd Banjo Page

If you want to see how I went about building a Goldtone resonator banjo from a kit, you can find the complete writeup on my:

Goldtone Banjo Kit Page

I have also built a Bob Flesher Minstrel Banjo kit. You can see the whole story of its construction on my

Minstrel Banjo Kit Page

I have been painting and drawing all of my life. To see some of my art work, please go to:

My Art Page

I am also interested in the use and meaning of the I Ching, which is the ancient Chinese Book of Changes. I have written up an analysis of the probabilities inherent in the choosing of a hexagram. This is on my page called:

"Combinatorics of the I Ching"

I have a musical instrument that I cannot identify. (Update: I now know what this thing is.)

What is this thing?
